We believe that a diverse workforce is critical to promoting innovation and achieving business success. As such, we are committed to developing and implementing effective DEI strategies in all areas of our work, including research integrity and compliance.

Project Description:

 

Our proposed project aimed to conduct research and develop innovative approaches and tools to promote DEI in the research community and improve research integrity and compliance. Specifically, we will focus on the following objectives:

1. Conduct research to identify best practices in promoting DEI in the research community and ensuring research integrity and compliance with 42 C.F.R. Part 93.

2. Develop innovative approaches, tools, and resources based on the research findings to promote DEI and research integrity and compliance.

3. Demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of the approaches, tools, and resources through pilot testing and evaluation.

4. Disseminate the approaches, tools, and resources to the research community through training, workshops, and other outreach activities.

 

Proposed Timeline:

Year 1:

• Conduct a literature review and needs assessment to identify best practices and gaps in promoting DEI and research integrity and compliance in the research community.

• Develop a set of DEI-focused approaches, tools, and resources based on the research findings, including strategies for addressing issues related to ultra-competitive environments, toxic workplaces, bullying, harassment, and other factors that can negatively impact research integrity.

• Pilot test the approaches, tools, and resources in a small-scale research setting and evaluate their effectiveness.

Year 2:

• Refine and expand the approaches, tools, and resources based on feedback and evaluation results.

• Disseminate the approaches, tools, and resources to the research community through training, workshops, and other outreach activities.

• Evaluate the impact of the approaches, tools, and resources on research integrity and compliance.

The proposed project aligns with the goals to promote research integrity and compliance and will contribute to the development of innovative approaches, tools, and resources to improve DEI in the research community. We are confident that our expertise in DEI and our experience in research and project management make us well-suited to carry out this important work.
